What's Being Done By The VDP?
Here at the VDP, we want to do all we can to ensure that Citizens of Verdis are protected to the same Human Rights and International Law as everyone else. We believe that we must use our voices & platforms to create awareness for the Free Republic of Verdis.
VDP Planning & Structuring
As an emerging movement, awaiting the ability to register the Party in the future. Setting out our core values, policies, and Focuses. We lay the foundation of the VDP.
Digital Presence
By rebranding an already established TikTok account, VDP hold over 15,000 followers. This platform will be used to reinforce the Provisional Goverments workings on making this a reality & showcasing what the VDP do
Deep Dives
In-depth research is being conducted into international and European laws that can be used to strengthen the Verdisian claims with Case Law backing. Cases such as 'The Legal Status of Eastern Greenland', 'Island of Palmas Case', 'Western Sahara Advisory Opinion' and many, many more
Petition Sumbitted
Before starting the VDP, the Founding member submitted to the EU Court of Petitions a case for review based on the current blockade preventing settlement in Verdis. - This is currently pending review.
Letters Sent
Acting in a Concerned Citizen capacity, several letters were sent to foreign ambassadors, Members of Parliment & consuls. The hope of this was to put the Blockade under a direct spotlight, making it harder to maintain.
That's Just The Start
We are already well underway in our primary focus of getting citizens on the ground and the blockade lifted. The VDP, with your support, can do our part in assisting the Provisional Government to make Verdis a physical reality.
